Dominican Real estate

The Dominican Republic is located West of Puerto Rico, East of Cuba and Jamaica. It occupies two thirds of the Island of Hispaniola, second in size of the Antilles. Dominican Republic borders to the North with the Atlantic Ocean, with the Caribbean Sea in the South, is separated of the island of Puerto Rico by the Mona Canal in the East, and borders in the West with Haiti. The country occupies a territory of 32,000 square miles, stretching 175 miles at its longest point from North to South, and 250 miles from East to West.

Given its latitude, the island is located in the tropical region, just south of the Tropic of Cancer. Thanks to its position, the Dominican Republic enjoys a perfect climate with comfortable warm temperatures all year round, with cozy waters on its beaches and refreshing winds that constantly sway its abundant palm trees.

Moreover, the maritime currents around Dominican Republic provide the ocean around the island with a beautiful variety of fish and seafood, as well as with fabulous colorful coral formations.

In the hottest months (July – August), the temperature reaches 95 degree F, and in the winter months (December – January) the temperature has an agreeable average of 70 degree F.
